It's January and us as of now have two honest to goodness battle of the year applicants.
After James DeGale and Badou Jack treated fans two weeks back, Takashi Miura and Miguel Roman did likewise Saturday on HBO in a spectacular 130-pound battle
Miura thumped Roman out in the twelfth round of an outright clash of whittling down with both men's confronts telling the story.
Miura dropped Roman with a colossal body shot in the disappearing snapshots of Round 10, and it was a stun the Mexican even made it out of the ring.
He doesn't ha anything cleared out, however, and was dropped in Round 11 preceding Miura shut the show in the last round with a collection of punches.
Miura is probably going to confront Francisco Vargas again in a rematch of their epic 2015 session if Vargas wins in the headliner.
